When I was about to graduate from Electric Engineering in the last semester I decided to shift my career to be an iOS software engineer. I had no idea how to reach this goal and I wasn't sure if I will make it, the only thing I knew is that this is the one thing I am passionate about and want to spend my time doing. On 2 of February 2023, I started by first swift lesson where I have learned how to print "Hello, World" ๐.

Now after just 2 years from this day, I have my own newsletter that talks about iOS software engineer and personal growth, launching my website soon to publish my blog there for free for everyone and working in one of the biggest FinTech companies in Egypt.
when I reflected on this journey I found out that the secret was one simple thing "Consistency". it is been 2 years constant learning and coding everyday (except Friday ๐ ), this lead me to gain a lot of knowledge in a very short period of time and made me exceptional in my field, So How I did it ?
It was due to many factors, let's go over them:
I do what I love for me coding and learning everyday was an enjoyment not a burden.
I had a goal which fueled me with the energy I need.
Size doesn't matter, what I mean by this is somedays it was difficult so instead of not working at all, I work on something small even if it was a simple line of code or even reading the documentation of a function. it is always better than not working at all.
For me those are the factors that played an important role in making me consistent with learning and coding, The same thing can be applied to this newsletter.
Bottom line stay consistent with what you do and you will find your self growing fast in this field โก๏ธ.
I hope this will inspire and help you in your life โค๏ธ, if you need any help don't hesitate to contact me on eng.omarelsayed@deveagency.com it's also available on iMessage.
